169 Years of Stories at Park House Inn

Built in 1857 by lumber baron H.D. Moore, the Park House is one of Saugatuck's oldest residences. Moore built it so his wife would join him in Saugatuck as he grew his lumber empire.

Now, while we are not fans of lumber barons or empires around here, we do love history, because there are always other stories to be told.

A famous guest

In 1879, Susan B. Anthony herself slept under this roof, as the guest of Mrs. H.D. (Tamar) Moore.

A new keeper

Today the house is in the hands of Nadia, its new owner and innkeeper. The inn is independently owned and run, and 100% woman owned. She bought the house because she believes hospitality should feel personal again, and she is breathing new life into this beloved old home while keeping its stories close.

Come and add a chapter of your own. Read more about Nadia or book your stay.
